The Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX-USA) is a national standardized medical licensure examination produced and administered by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners<\/a> (NBOME).\u00a0 All osteopathic medical students are required to pass COMLEX-USA Level 1 and Level 2-Cognitive Evaluation (CE) in order to graduate from osteopathic medical school. You\u2019ll take the first level of the exam near the end of your second year of medical school. Typically, you\u2019ll take Level 2-CE during your third or fourth year. You must take them in order, and you must successfully complete both Level 1 and Level 2-CE before you can take Level 3 during your residency.<\/p>\n
